Inaugural ChapLip Library Series publishing competition winner, Jonathan Lopez’s book of poetry. Lopez’s collection of poetry is from the eyes of a 16 year old boy dealing with heartbreak, to an 18 year old being shut out from home for being gay, to a 21 year old man hurt by the world and facing love lost. Lopez shares, “if you are looking for a story about getting to the other side of whatever is keeping you down, I want you to read this and find the hope within.” His poetry faces reality head-on and in a non-sensical poetic way throughout many ages and mindsets.
