Inaugural ChapLip Library Series publishing competition winner, Heather B. Rule’s book of poetry. Rule is a spirit on a human journey who also fancies herself as a playwright, author, screenwriter and all-around storyteller. This collection of poems is her second project with Tuleburg Press having published her collection of plays The Great Chinese New Years Race and Other Children’s Plays back in 2018. She graduated from Edison High School in Stockton, California. In 1998 she was names a California Art Scholar for her acting, and she was given a scholarship to the California Summer School of the Arts in Valencia, California. Along with being a full-time writer, Heather is also a crochet teacher, patisserie chef, and writer/director/actress for Red Phoenix Rising Theater in Stockton, California. Heather currently resides in Stockton with her loving, patient, supportive and awesome husband, Kevin Rule. They have three pets: two adorable cats, and a regal turtle. She is also supported by her mother, Philena, and nephews.
