Barron Sudderth
Barron Sudderth was born and raised among the cherry blossoms, clucking hens and ever present fermentation of manure in the agricultural belt of San Joaquin Valley. He graduated from Linden High School, in Linden, California and received his BA and MA in Contemporary American Literature from CSU Sacramento. Barron is currently an English teacher at Lodi High School and an Adjunct Professor of English with San Joaquin Delta College. He is a former Peace Corps Volunteer (Russia 2000-02), world traveler with passport stamps from 13 countries and avid runner who is working on completing his 10th marathon. Along with being a full-time educator, and part-time poet / photographer, Barron lives in Lodi, California with his two daughters, fat cat, collection of books and inspirational better half in a moist 1920’s cottage.
